The rebozo is a long piece of cotton fabric, hand woven, that originates from Mexico where people use them throughout their lives, especially women.

The rebozo helps to assist relax the hip, make room for baby to move, hence more room for you to breathe and relief pain, before labour (from 37th week onwards) and during labour. Those techniques using a rebozo are part of the OMP (optimal maternal positioning).

When you hire the rebozo it comes with a cheat sheet and I can send you videos of how to use it.

I also use the rebozo as part of my labour focussed massage when needed to help relax the hips and relieve pain discomfort..

Hire is for 6 weeks from week 37 or earlier can be arranged.

Women use rebozos to wrap their growing belly while pregnant and during labour their birth partner or doula can use the rebozo to relief pain and relax the body and mind. Then when baby is Earth side the same rebozo is/can be used to wrap baby in, to keep them warm and to carry them around. You can well imagine how baby would be in his element, wrapped in a rebozo that has the scents of his mother.
