ABOUT
“Laure-Anne has a beautiful energy and this radiates into every moment of your treatment.”
I grew up and have been blessed to be able to study, live and travel on most continents around the world. I moved to Fremantle beginning of 2019 and live and work in South Fremantle. I feel very lucky to be part of our Freo community and feel at home here on Whadjuk Noongar Country.
I love dance, body movement, music, art, food…
I am an inquisitive Sagittarian and have studied medicine, translations between four languages and international politics on three different continents. Pulled towards natural therapies and working 1:1 with people I obtained my diploma in remedial massage in 2014 in Melbourne and trained in other natural therapies like foot reflexology, basics of shiatsu and manual lymphatic drainage. I have always felt charmed to explore receiving body work and all my different experiences are imprinted into my way of working.
I have been studying to become a birth doula with Vicki Hobbs, founder of the Doula Training Academy. I am now studying to become a midwife.
I view birth as a transformative and sacred rite of passage in our lives. I am in awe of our birthing bodies and the incredible powers they hold.
I am offering my support to people expecting, during birth, post partum and beyond as a massage therapist. I am also offering support as a student midwife. Contact me if you feel drawn.
I look forward to seeing you at Birthing Wellness on South Terrace, South Fremantle.
With Love,
Laure-Anne
When Kambarang and Djilba, the flowers seasons, come I will be wandering around South Fremantle being mesmerised by the blooms, during Birak and Bunuru, the hot Summer months, you will see me riding my bike to South Beach in the early hours for a swim in the still waters.
Djeran is my favourite season in its potent transitional energy and nourishing colours, fruit and vegetables. Everything starts slowing down.
During the Makuru days I will go most days for short brisk walks but will more often that not be staying by the fireplace or anywhere warm, drinking chai, preparing warm broths and making my house and garden beautiful.
